Segilola Resources Operating Limited is a frontline gold-mining company that holds the ace of gold mining in Nigeria. If we critically study these definitions, we don’t need any soothsayer to tell us that learning environment plays a vital role in achieving the goals of education.
A conducive learning environment enhances student motivation and engagement in the learning process. This helps in bringing out the best in the students and the teaching-learning process is made interesting.
It also helps the students develop social skills and emotional intelligence. A comfortable and welcoming space is provided for the students to learn.
A learner who sits conveniently in a ventilated class with fans installed in the class would be ready to learn and contribute brilliantly to the discourse in the class.
This is possible because teachers are also encouraged to give their best in an environment where there are no distractions and disruptions.
In a classroom where a teacher moves about freely and does not feel any heat because the class is tiled and ceiled, such a teacher would be ready to give his best to the learners.
All these and more are put into consideration by Segilola Resources Operating Limited before taking a giant stride to renovate the Admin block and two blocks of ten classrooms.
Modern furniture is also provided for the teacher and the students.

The Commissioning Program
The program was held on Friday 27th of October, 2023. The program started at 2:30 p.m. when the management of Segilola Resources Operating Limited drove into the school compound.
Mrs. Madhurii Sarkar-Amoda, the amiable and diligent Community Development and Stakeholder Manager has earlier visited the school to inspect the projects and ascertain the completion of the projects to the satisfaction of the company.
There were also the representatives of the paramount ruler of Ijesha-land, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, the Owa Obokun of Ijesa-land.
The executive governor of the state, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke was also represented as well as the kind-hearted king of Iperindo, the Tirimi, Oba Adedeji Olusegun Isiah. The notable chiefs in the town and its environs also graced the occasion.
The principal of the school, Mr. Adeleye Elijah Oludare delivered his welcome cum appreciation speech.
In the speech, he recognized the important personalities present and also appreciated the Segilola company for the renovation and the donation of furniture, a modern toilet, and a motorized bore-hole.
He also mentioned some other areas where the school still needs assistance. Some of them are the perimeter fencing of the school, the provision of science equipment for the school, teachers for some subjects, and the renovation of the dilapidated school hall.
This was followed by the inspection of all the projects by the invited important personalities. The people showered encomium on Segilola Resources Operating Limited for the wonderful project.
The projects were then commissioned one after the other by the representatives of Owa Obokun and Tirimi of Iperindo respectively.
